Guident, in collaboration with Related Ross, Circuit Transit and Auve Tech, is excited to announce the launch of a pilot program with the City of West Palm Beach to demonstrate what Guident believes is the future of urban public transportation. The MiCa, a fully electric SAE Level 4 autonomous shuttle, has been operating autonomously within the CityPlace area of West Palm Beach since mid-February 2025, successfully navigating the dense urban area occupied by cars, trucks, bicycles and pedestrians. With six stops between Brightline Station and the Publix Super Market plaza, the project offers 0.9 miles of clean, quiet and convenient public transportation within the heart of West Palm Beach. Guident Showcases Teleoperation at the 2025 Safe Streets Summit
On February 6, 2025, Guident proudly sponsored the Innovation & Autonomous Vehicles Tour for 21 participants from the 2025 Safe Streets Summit. Attendees experienced teleoperation firsthand at the Guident Remote Monitor and Control Center and enjoyed a ride in MiCa, the SAE Level 4 Autonomous Shuttle, at Guident’s test track at the FAU Tech Runway. The event highlighted the future of safe, connected, and autonomous mobility, demonstrating Guident’s commitment to innovation in teleoperated vehicle technology.
Guident Attends ITEXPO and ISC West
On February 11-13, Guident attended the ITEXPO in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Guident’s CEO, Harald Braun, was interviewed about Guident’s safety approach to prevent vehicle mishaps through remote monitoring services and teleoperation for autonomous vehicles and devices. Watch the interview here.

On April 2-4, Guident attended ISC West with our strategic business partner Star Robotics to showcase our autonomous security and surveillance robot. Watchbot is an integration of Guident’s Remote Monitor and Control Center (RMCC) and Star Robotics autonomous navigation, cloud, and artificial intelligence solutions.
Guident Receives Additional Patent Coverage for its AV Remote Monitor and Control Service
Guident has secured additional intellectual property protection for its Remote Monitor and Control Center by validating its European Patent No. 4097550, covering AI methods for remote monitoring and control of autonomous vehicles. This patent is now protected in 20 European countries, including Austria, France, Germany, Italy, and the UK.
Additionally, Guident received a Notice of Allowance from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for U.S. Patent Application No. 17/579,203, covering systems for near real-time data and video streaming to enhance the safety of autonomous vehicles, robots, and drones.
Guident recently deployed Watchbot, our autonomous security and surveillance robot, at two customer locations. Watchbot was even asked to attend the Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC) Bring-your-Child-to-Work event, where our Robotics team was on hand to educate young minds by demonstrating some of Watchbot's capabilities.

In December, Marco Morlett was selected as Guident’s Director of Sales, Robotics, and has already become an invaluable member of the team. Mr. Morlett is focused on strengthening client relationships and driving growth through the development and implementation of innovative sales strategies for the robotics division.
In January, Guident welcomed cybersecurity analysts Christopher Romig and Joseph Swett. These professionals are focused on strengthening Guident's infrastructure and security practices to align with ISO 27001 in support of the company's ongoing certification initiative.
In February, Lisa Cobb joined Guident as the Office and External Relations Manager. She is focused on managing daily office operations, coordinating events, and serving as a key liaison between internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Just last month, Guident's Robotics Team got even stronger with the addition of two incredible talents: Josh Boada, joining as Robotics Solutions Engineer, and Maxwell Krauthausen, stepping in as Robotics Market Analyst.
